BayLibre contributions to U-Boot v2024.01

U-Boot v2024.01 was released on January 8th.

BayLibre continues to actively contribute to the upstream U-Boot project.

This release saw Mattjis Korpershoek increase his involvement by becoming co-maintainer of the USB Gadget and fastboot (u-boot-dfu) subsystem. He also addressed an environment saving issue impacting the Khadas VIM3/VIM3L boards, and actively participated in the review and testing process for the Beagle Play board. Additionally, improvements were made to the project’s documentation.

Furthermore, Guillaume La Roque resolved a regression that prevented the use of fastboot on the Khadas VIM3/VIM3L boards.
